Tauranga Rollerskating Club

Tauranga Roller Skating Club is one the premier roller skating clubs in the Bay of Plenty.

Under the leadership of head coach Michelle Webb, skaters learn a number of world skate regulated disciplines, these include artistic free skating and figures.

The club also operates the Kiwi Skate programme in two Tauranga locations, under the guidance of a group of accredited coaches. The Kiwi Skate programme is designed to teach new and up and coming skaters the skills to truly enjoy skating, show off some new moves, and perhaps move to more formal disciplines, if they wish.

The club also holds regular evening discos and has a range of new, top quality, skates for the public to hire.

Frequently asked questions

No! Social sports leagues are a great way to keep active while having fun and socialising with others. You can join no matter what your skill level.

Most participants are adults; however, youth are welcome to participate. All teams have a mix of female and male players and we supply the referees. All you need to do is turn up with your team and play!

Leagues range anywhere from 8 – 15 weeks depending on the time of year and the elected sport. All leagues culminate in a final for all teams followed by a prize giving. The cost to register your team depends on the length of time the league runs.

If you’re keen to take part but don’t have a team you can submit your interest with us and we’ll do our best to find one for you. Registering your interest does not guarantee you a place, but we will do our best to get you in a team playing your preferred sport on your preferred day.
